I can't believe it's been almost six months since I last blogged! That is untenable! That is ridiculous! It's definitely time to regroup!

OK - I know it's already 13th January but resolutions have to start somewhere and I resolve to blog a lot more often, at least once a week. I know, I know - I said that before....

This time I mean it - even if I've nothing to say I'm going to blog. I'm going to link this blog to my web sites and post even if I only comment on something really trivial.

At the moment blogging is the only outlet I have as I've lost my voice! It's quite bad, I can't be heard on the phone at all so can't talk to anyone. It's been like this since Sunday afternoon: I started a new residency - that is I am now performing magic at a family restaurant in return for a main course and the opportunity of giving out my publicity so that people will get a sample of my magic and see that they can book me knowing I'm going to do a really good job for them.

So - halfway through the afternoon my voice started getting croaky and it's just got blatantly worse and worse so that I now sound like an adolescent boy! Actually they are probably more constant than I am - and more audible! So tomorrow I'm off to the doctor's in the hope that all can be revived in time for my close up performance at The Magic Circle on Monday night.

Meanwhile... I have to bring you up to date over the next few days. All sorts of things have happened since I last visited my Blog and I've seen all sorts of magic shows so there are loads of photos to share with you.


In other words - in the words of Al Jolson - you ain't seen nothing yet!
